The Chequers at Slaugham

Head Chef David Wharton was Head Chef at renowned gastro-pub, the Royal Oak, Poynings from 2002-2007.  He trained at the Brighton Metropole Hotel and in 2005 was awarded the title “PubChef BBQ Champion” beating opponents from the U.S. and Australia.
